Saturday, June 11 will see some new features at the 4th Annual Seneca County Flag Day Cookout. This year we have added a 40 foot inflated obstacle course and have returned to BBQ by Dewey’s 3rd Ward Tavern. Old favorites, such as pony rides by Apple Ponies, a bounce house, and, of course, the beautiful Vince’s Park swimming pool will round out the event. (Remember there is a small fee for swimmers that do not reside in Seneca Falls.) The day begins at 11 am with a gathering of old friends and new, a ceremony honoring our flag, our nation, and those who serve or have served in our military, and then Dewey’s BBQ starting at noon. This event is at Vince’s Park, corners of Rt. 318 and Rts. 5 & 20 in Seneca Falls, this Saturday, June 11, from 11 til 2, is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Seneca County Republican Committee.
